Almost nothing to steal, by design.

We're a pottery studio, not a software company — no SOC 2 badge, no ISO 27001 certificate, and we won't pretend otherwise. Our security plan is simpler and, we'd argue, sturdier: collect almost nothing, keep it where only the people making your pots can reach it, and never let a card number near the place. This page says exactly what we do — no more, no less.

OUR APPROACH ↓NO CARDS HERE ↓REPORT AN ISSUE ↓

§1 Our approach

LAST UPDATED AUG 20, 2026 · THE WHOLE STRATEGY IN ONE LINE
1.1 — COLLECT ALMOST NOTHING

This site collects only what you type into the quote form: your name, your email, your company if you give one, your notes if you write any — plus the quote configuration and the ticket REF we assign it. There are no accounts, no passwords, no profiles. Nothing to phish, no trove to crack.

1.2 — LITTLE LEAVES YOUR MACHINE

The typefaces for this site are self-hosted and the product renders are drawn by your own browser. There are no ad networks, first-party analytics beacons, or social embeds. Two named third parties do run in the browser: Termly's consent manager on every visit, and tawk.to live chat only after you accept Performance and Functionality. The cookie policy lists them, plus the tskNav session flag.

1.3 — WHAT WE DON'T CLAIM

No SOC 2, no ISO 27001, no PCI certification — we're a studio of potters and kilns, not a data center, and a badge we haven't earned would be a lie in a nice font. What we offer instead is a precise description of what we actually do. That's this page, and the privacy policy beside it.

1.4 — WHY THIS WORKS

Most breaches hurt because the target held years of data on everyone. We hold a name, an email address and an order for mugs. Good security for a studio our size starts with not stockpiling things worth stealing.

§2 What we protect & how

LAST UPDATED AUG 20, 2026 · SMALL TARGET, FEW KEYS
2.1 — IN TRANSIT

Every page of triskelceramics.com is served over HTTPS/TLS, so what you send us — the quote form included — travels encrypted between your browser and our hosting provider.

2.2 — AT THE STUDIO

Quote tickets and order records live in the studio's order book. The only people who can open it are the working potters who need it to make and deliver your work — no marketing team, no outside sales reps, no shared logins.

2.3 — THE HONEST LIMIT

No business is unhackable, and a small one that claims to be is guessing. What we can promise is a small target: so little stored that even a bad day here wouldn't be a very bad day for you — and §6 below says exactly what we'd do if that day came.

§3 Payments

LAST UPDATED AUG 21, 2026 · NO CHECKOUT EXISTS HERE
3.1 — NO CARDS ON THIS SITE

There is no checkout on triskelceramics.com — no cart, no card field, nothing. Payment card data never touches this site, and there is no database of card numbers here because there couldn't be one. The intended future online handoff is a full-page Stripe-hosted Checkout page after a dual-confirmed written quote; card numbers stay on Stripe's hosted page, and this site does not claim PCI certification.

3.2 — HOW MONEY ACTUALLY MOVES

Deposits and balances for custom runs are invoiced and paid offline through a PCI-DSS-compliant payment provider. Your card details go to them, through their own secure channel; we never see or store a full card number.

3.3 — A STANDING RULE

We will never email you asking for card details, and you should never email them to us — or to anyone. If a message that looks like Triskel Clay asks for a card number, it isn't us. Call +1 (857) 382-6425 and we'll tell you what's real.

§4 Who can see your information

LAST UPDATED AUG 20, 2026 · NEED-TO-KNOW, POTTER SCALE
4.1 — INSIDE THE STUDIO

Only the working potters who need your details to make and deliver your order can see them. That's a handful of named humans at 101 Bennington St, and nobody else gets a key because they're curious.

4.2 — HOW LONG WE KEEP RECORDS

Order and tax records stay as long as the law requires — up to about seven years. If you asked for a quote and never ordered, your contact details are deleted on request.

4.3 — HOW RECORDS END

When a record reaches the end of its life it's securely deleted or destroyed — digital files wiped, paper shredded. Not just dragged to a trash-can icon.

4.4 — YOUR SAY

You can see, correct or delete what we hold about you. The privacy policy lists your rights in full, and hello@triskelceramics.com is the door.

§5 Service providers

LAST UPDATED AUG 20, 2026 · CATEGORIES, NAMES ON REQUEST

The categories below touch visitor or customer data. Each is bound by its own security obligations, and we share the minimum necessary for the job — never the whole order book. Termly and tawk.to are named because they run in the browser. If you'd like the current company names behind hosting or email, email us.

PROVIDER CATEGORYWHAT THEY DO FOR USWHAT WE SHARE
STATIC SITE HOSTINGServes these pages to your browser and keeps standard server logs.Only what any browser sends when it asks for a page — IP address, browser type, pages requested.
EMAIL PROVIDERCarries our order correspondence and quote replies.Your name, email address, and whatever you write to us.
PAYMENT INVOICINGBills deposits and balances for custom runs, offline from this site. Online card checkout is not live.Billing name, email and invoice amount. Card numbers go to them directly — never through us.
CONSENT MANAGER — TERMLYShows the cookie banner, stores your category choices, and AutoBlocks optional scripts (including chat) until you accept them.Consent choice and the technical data Termly needs to apply the banner. Not used by us to sell or share personal information.
LIVE CHAT — TAWK.TOOptional widget after Performance and Functionality consent. Studio questions only — never card numbers.Chat text and any name/email you type; IP, device/browser data, pages during the session, approximate location, timestamps.

§6 If something goes wrong

LAST UPDATED AUG 20, 2026 · 72 HOURS WHERE GDPR APPLIES
6.1 — IF THE WORST HAPPENS

If personal data we're holding is ever breached, we will notify the affected customers promptly and plainly — what happened, what was taken, and what we're doing about it. Where GDPR applies, we will also notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours.

6.2 — HOW WE'D HANDLE IT

Contain it, find the root cause, and fix that before anything returns to normal. We'd rather throw the firing schedule out than reopen with the same hole. No cover-up and no lawyer fog — you'd hear it from us in the same voice as this page.

§7 Availability

LAST UPDATED AUG 20, 2026 · NO UPTIME SLA, HONESTLY
7.1 — WHAT THIS SITE IS

Triskelceramics.com is an informational site with a quote form — not a service your business depends on minute to minute, and we don't offer an uptime percentage. If the hosting provider has a bad night, the site waits it out. The kilns don't.

7.2 — THE BACKUP IS A TELEPHONE

Orders, quotes and changes are always confirmable by phone or email, site or no site. If your order matters right now, call +1 (857) 382-6425 or write to hello@triskelceramics.com — that's the same channel we use on a good day.

§8 Report a security issue

LAST UPDATED AUG 20, 2026 · GOOD-FAITH REPORTS WELCOME
8.1 — RESPONSIBLE DISCLOSURE

If you spot a security problem — researcher, customer, or curious passer-by — email hello@triskelceramics.com with what you found. We'll acknowledge it within a few business days, fix it if it's real, and thank you. Good-faith reports get gratitude here, not legal threats.

8.2 — WHAT YOU CAN DO

Call us for anything sensitive rather than emailing it. Never put a card number in an email — to us or to anyone. Your ticket REF is all we need to pull up an order. And if a message claiming to be Triskel Clay feels off, trust that feeling and phone the studio first.
